My Daily Life of Enjoying Christ in FTTA, Anonymous After I became a Christian, I had a desire to be a normal Christian and live a normal Christian life. In the 2001 Winter Training in Anaheim, I found out that there was a Full-Time Training (FTTA) there. During the Winter Training, I saw the actions and prophesying of the trainees and I thought that the FTTA could help me live a normal Christian life. In Spring 2003, I got the chance to attend the FTTA. So I decided to come here. Before I was in the Training, I also had some experiences pursuing truth and experiencing Christ (Philippians 3:12,14). But in the FTTA, I really discovered that Christ is so enjoyable. I can't describe the feeling with words, but I can testify that if I am in my spirit, I can enjoy Christ, and I can get enlightenment and peace from this enjoyment. In the FTTA, I gradually have come to know what the normal Christian life is. Every day in the Training, all the trainees are trying to seek and practice the truth in their daily life. Every morning, we rise up at 6:00 am. Then we call upon the Lord's name (Romans 10:13) together in our house. Just like the verses in Psalm 119:147-148, we anticipated the dawn and cried out; I hoped in Your words.... After that, we clean our personal things and the whole house. Then we have breakfast together. When we finish breakfast, we have a personal time with the Lord. As we are before the Lord, call upon His name, draw near to Him, enjoy His Word, we enjoy Christ as our best spiritual breakfast. When we come forward to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), we enjoy the High Priest ministering the bread and wine (Hebrews 5:10). By this kind of intimate communication with the Lord, we are saved from this world into our spirit and have a new beginning in our life. In the morning, we have classes about the truth in the Bible. John 1:1 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. We know the Word is God Himself. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 says, But a soulish man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, . . . But the spiritual man discerns all things... So, every day we not only learn the Word and are saturated with the truth, but we exercise our spirit to receive and understand God's Word in our spirit (Ephesians 6:17-18). At noon, we go to a college campus to preach the gospel. John15: 2 says, Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit; He takes it away... God's Word tells us clearly that if we do not bear fruit, we will be cut off. So, we pray on the way to campus and enjoy Christ by laboring for Him (preaching the gospel). After we come back, we rest in the afternoon and have meetings or study at night. Every night, before going to bed, we also have 15 minutes of house prayer. We pray by giving thanks, for all our situations and for our families. This is my daily life in the FTTA. Always rejoice; unceasingly pray. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites.
